Cultural legacies
In my photographic documentation of the International Indigenous Women's Forum (FIMI) meeting held in Panama, I captured a vibrant assembly of indigenous women from across the globe. This event was a remarkable convergence where participants connected, shared knowledge, and exchanged experiences. It served as a vital platform for them to present their ongoing research within their communities, aimed at enhancing their cultural heritage and records for future generations. Through my lens, I documented the rich tapestry of traditional attire, the heartfelt interactions, and the profound commitment these women have to preserving and advancing their unique cultural legacies.
