In 2015 I set out to explore the provinces of my country, with no particular place in mind. In doing so I was able to document a Panama where some of our most ancient traditions and customs still exist.
In our countryside, my eyes stumbled upon the expected beauty of the provincial landscape and also the harsh life of people that work the land, the everyday moments of daily life in remote towns where there is no concrete road but one of dirt and rocks.
I wanted to capture these truths and be a witness of our origins.
