As the world has been forced to untangle its way of life, thousands of people have had to shelter and apply new norms of living to stay healthy, each coping and processing these abrupt changes in different ways.  Each country handling differently according to its politics, culture, traditions, and people.
Panama has one of the most strict quarantine compared to other countries in the region, and yet we still have an increasing number of new cases, corrupted politicians punching us straight on the face, hundreds are unemployed and hundreds with too little or nothing to eat, leading its citizens into an uncertain future.
This pandemic has taken us all by surprise, changing our lives overnight, and as we struggle to make sense of it all, there is still some light at the end of the tunnel, at least I want to believe that, so we must prevail and keep optimistic because it will be the only way to get through these unsettling times.
The following images are a representation of my emotional journey, my way of coping with this surreal period, through photography.
